Hi I'm Brian

I'm Brian. I live in Portland Oregon, I work ovations at the Rose Quarter, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Brian. I work at the Rose Quarter Arena, in catering for the Portland Trailblazers. My hobbies are shooting pool, playing video games, shooting hoops, playing chess, going to concerts and going out to dinner. I am a high school graduate but was not a mormon then.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized as a child. Through a series of family events I became distanced from the church, but have always had faith in Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. In the summer of 2012 I was waiting at a bus stop across town when two missionaries biked up to me. I saw their badges and recognized them as mormons. I continued to tell them my story and they put me in touch with the missionaries in my area. We studied the Book of Mormon, the Restoration and the Plan of Salvation. I learnt about christlike attributes such as wisdom. I soon started going to church and loved the gospel principles class. I now have a deep relationship with Jesus Christ and that has helped me become a stronger mormon.

How I live my faith

My faith helps me have a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Going to church helps me increase this relationship and practice unconditional love for all of God's children. It is a great chance to meet with others and worship. Reading the Book of Mormon helps strengthen my faith.
