Hi I'm Leslie

I've ran a marathon. I love to laugh. My family means the world to me and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love running, especially in fall weather. I'm going to college, but taking a little detour to serve an LDS mission. I have such a beautiful family, I have three sisters, and they are all my best friends. I love to read, and I'm going to school to become an English teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this is Christ's Church. I know that He loves me, and that He has atoned for my sins. I grew up in the gospel, and was raised by my very loving and wise parents. They taught my to pray to Heavenly Father, and to talk with Him constantly. When I grew a little older I did just that. I knelt down and I prayed and asked Heavenly Father if He truly did love me. I received my answer, and will never forget that I am loved, and that the power of prayer is real. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, and that he restored this church back to the earth. I know the Book of Mormon is of God, I have read it many times, and it has changed my life. I love this gospel, I know my purpose here on Earth, I know that families can be together forever, and I know that Heavenly Father loves His children.

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed working with the children in my ward by teaching them lessons, and hearing their strong testimonies. Last year I worked with the women in my ward, helping plan activities, and getting the chance to get to know each women in our ward personally. I have also enjoyed the chance to be able to visit the women in my ward, and to be able to have made new friends.
