Hi I'm Robert Pymm!

I'm from good old Iona, Idaho. I love spending time with my family, working hard, enjoying life, and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently volunteering full time as a missionary for the Church in northwest Washington. That's my life right now, sun up to sun down! It has brought me more happiness than anything else that I have experienced in my life, and is a huge part of who I am. I can't wait to apply all the lessons I have learned and the love that I have felt from God in my family life as I eventually go back to Idaho. Happy- that's probably the first word that comes to my mind when I think about who I am. I love living! Breathing! Doing! The only reason why I sleep is so that I can experience more in life the next day. I really enjoy learning new skills, and I am just a little bit competitive, which drives me to be the best I can be at whatever I try. It has been a battle to learn how to compete against myself, rather than comparing myself to others, but I get better at it every day. My goal is to become a doctor, which I hope will help me to achieve my even larger goal of being able to make a real difference in the lives of others and to use my time for something that will be of worth in the lives of others. Its gonna be sweet :) Another thing, I love to get excited about things and get the adrenaline pumping, doing things outdoors, playing any kind of sport, exercising... I also love all kinds of music. I would say that folk and alternative are a couple favorites, not to mention country. You just gotta love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I like to be happy, and i believe that God wants his children to be happy more than anything. Not just in this life, but much more than that. This life is but a passing moment of pain and heartache when compared to eternity of happiness and joy with our families. This church is the only church that sees the whole of God's plan for each person on this Earth and provides the means for each of us to achieve that destiny. I love it. I love the Gospel, the plan he has for me, and i love this knowledge that i have personally come to find. It just FEELS right. I've never seen an angel, or had any visions or anything, but I am a witness of Christ through the joy and peace that I feel amidst turmoil and trials. He led the way, and through the fulness of his gospel contained in the teachings of the prophets, we can follow. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve as a full time missionary at this time, as a 2 year show of my dedication to my Savior, and because I want others to experience the blessings that the fulness of his gospel brings to each of our lives, and I plan on doing missionary work as an individual for the rest of my life, after I'm finished giving full time. I'm involved in missionary leadership programs, and love to be able to work with, motivate, uplift, encourage, inspire and bless the lives of other missionaries, so they can be find more joy in the service they are providing, because we all know its tough work, but the blessings far outweigh the sacrifice.
