Hi I'm Olivia Bristow

I was born in Oregon I grew up in Utah I love to do art. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a person who loves to do art. I love to sing, dance, draw, play piano, and write. I am currently going to college right now trying to earn my associate degree. I haven't figured out what I want to be yet so I am just doing my General Studies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel but, that doesn't mean I don't have a testimony of it myself. When I was much younger I always had a desire to have a testimony for myself. I think to this day my desire is still the same. Slowly my testimony has come but, it took a lot of work to get what testimony I do have. In my life I struggle with depression. One of my many things I deal with in life. I honestly can say I am grateful for trials because if it weren't for trials I probably wouldn't be as close to God. Depression has resulted in me feeling lonely and have been at my wits end at times but a lot of times I found myself praying to God. I have felt his powerful feeling that came from the Holy Ghost. I know he has helped me through so many things in my life. I have before contemplated about taking my own life but I realize that God gave me life and to him I want to make him proud of me. Everyday is a struggle for someone and I hope I can help that someone someday with problems that I might have experienced like them. Have you ever had a deep yearning to do something? I have I don't know how to explain it but from a very young age I wanted to do what is right and live the gospel. Life has it's ups and downs and I know I have felt it and honestly I can say that through my life I still strive to do the best I can. I love my Heavenly Father, My Beloved Savior. I love this gospel and everything it has done for me. I don't know what my life would be like if I didn't have the gospel. I am grateful for my friends and family who help me and have the same strength in the gospel. I am truly blessed. I know that he can help you and whatever you are in need of if you ask. He is there and loves us with all his heart. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. And to me that shows how much love one can have. He is there he lives and he loves us. I testify these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

In my calling I work with younger children under the age of 12. I love being able to teach them in my ward. They bring such a great example and it teaches me how I can be better. I attend my family ward and even though I am of age to attend single adult ward I have decided to spend it with my family. I love my calling very much to see the children learn every Sunday about the gospel and see it bring much happiness into their lives.
