Hi I'm Jenny Clinger

I grew up in Utah and curretly live in beautiful N. Carolina. I am a Dental Assistant, and a devoted wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 32 year old women who works as a dental assistant full time. This has been my career since 1999. I've been married to a wonderfiul man for 10 years. He just graduated from Pharmacy school and is working for Walgreens as a pharmacist. We love our date nights and spending time with each other. We hope to be parents soon. I enjoy cooking and baking. I love shopping, especially for clothes. I love anything with makeup and skin care. I love the mountiains, especially here in N. Carolina, hiking, camping, anything outdoors in nature. I love traveling and discovering new places, even if it's right where I live. Our families live in Utah, and we visit as often as possible, but it's never enough. We hope to move back soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is Christs church on earth with ALL the truth, light and knowledge. I have always been a member of this church, but I had to make the decision for myself as an adult. After moving here to N. Carolina four years ago I couldn't believe how many churches and denominations there were. I grew up in a predominantly LDS community and state, so seeing a different church was rare. As my husband and I were driving to church (ten min away) shortly after we moved to Charlotte, NC I counted eight different churches. I asked myself why the LDS church is true and so different than the other churches. I pondered on this for weeks, and prayed several times asking this question. I received my answer by reading a chapter in the old testament. The Lord is talking to Abraham about his temple and the priesthood ordinances practiced inside. I had a confirmation that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church on this earth because we have the priesthood (Gods power given to men on earth) and the Lords houses scattered in almost every land. We also have a prophet and apostles on earth to lead and guide us, which no other church has. Christ had apostles when he established his church on earth, so of course we need them now. I've always known that our church was true, but this really confirmed specifically why. The gospel and this church give me eternal joy, peace, hope, stability, friendships, and blessings more than I can express. It is everything to me. Because of the temple I have an eternal family and forever marriage to my husband. My relationship to my Savior is the most important and sacred to me. He loves me and knows me personally. I am a child of God! I know that because of the atonement I can overcome any challenge in this life and that my savior has been through all things. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has everything! I love it and will defend it fiercely. I'm so grateful for it!

How I live my faith

I serve in the Releif Society organization, the women's group ages 18 and up in our church. I help the women with any physical or emotional needs they have and serve them in any way I can. I also organize and help the teachers who give lessons each week. I help with the activities we hold each month for the women. I love getting to know the women and serving them!
