Hi I'm Caleb

I grew up in Utah. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, commonly referred to as a Mormon.

About Me

Utah is a great place to live. The outdoors are an integrated part of everyday life. I love nature and spending my time enjoying all the scenic views we have here. Some things i enjoy doing in Utah? Camping a must, you can't say you've lived in Utah if you've never been camping. While camping i like to ride four-wheelers, go swimming, hiking, build a bomb-fire; sit around it with friends and family and play games. We also, have to have a bbq dinner, shoot the archery range, and end the trip with homemade ice cream or the tradition wouldn't be complete. Ya, i know. Sounds too good to be true. Utah's my home and these are just a few of the endless possibilities of things to do. When we get a good snow storm, you will find me up in the mountains, snowboarding, tube-sledding, or just plain tired from all the fun we can have with the greatest snow on earth. In the summer and late spring we hit up the water-parks, swimming pools, or lakes and ponds. The adventures we do are well spent. What can i say, Utah's an awesome place. So come check it out and see what you're missing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because i was raised a member. Most of the my family and friends are members. But why do i continue to be as i grow older and mature? Because i have a testimony for myself of Christ. I had to develop the knowledge and faith for myself because i cannot live off of the beliefs of others. I have had my own conversion. I prayed to our father in heaven to know if the gospel this church teaches was true. I prayed to know if our founding Prophet Joseph Smith really did see and talk with God the father and his son Jesus Christ. And if they really did manifest the knowledge of the restored truth to him. I have prayed with faith and heavenly father has answered me through a calm peaceful feeling and reassurance that these things are true. By the power of the Holy Spirit or Ghost, my heart was softened and the only desire i have is to do good. I know these things are true and i believe them.

How I live my faith

I believe in Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of his power and life. The LDS church that i am affiliated with helps we to live a moral and honest life. We are a lot like other christian faiths. We understand the atonement and we try and live our lives in gratitude to our savior and brother. One thing that sets us apart from other denominations is the authority of the Priesthood. It was restored to the earth and to our church through heavenly fathers power and will; given to our founding leader and latter-day Prophet, Joseph Smith. I have been given this power and authority. With it comes great responsibility. I have callings and duties that teach me to serve others. To be more christlike and loving of my fellow men. I am now preparing to go on a mission. This mission is full-time for the duration of two-years. I will be devoting my time, energy, and resources to spreading the word of Christ through another testament of his goodness and life; the Book of Mormon. This book go's hand in hand with most christian doctrines. And specifically with the Bible. It is just another testimony of Christ.
