Hi I'm Linda Palmer Mortensen

I am a Mormon. I was born and raised in Utah. I have five siblings. We were taught to be obedient and love each other.

About Me

I am a mother of 7 children, 5 boys and 2 girls, and a grandmother of 25 beautiful grandchildren, 11 boys and 14 girls. I have a Masters Degree in Education. I taught elementary school. for 17 years after my youngest child was in school. I love to sew. I love to make quilts for my family members. I enjoy creating photo books and scrapbooks. I love spending time with my family. My grandkids are so fun to be with. We have cousin camps where we make fun crafts together and just read and play together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I love everything about the Church of Jesus of Later Day Saints. I love its teachings and principles. I love the good feeling I have when I am with other church members learning and serving together. I know that the church of Jesus Christ is the only true church on the earth today. I know I will always find happiness and joy if I follow the teachings of the gospel. I know Pres. Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God who has been called to guide us in these latter days.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving and serving others. I help plan and organize special events and activities that involve learning together and spending time with others. I teach other women in classes. I love to visit other women in their homes. I spent many years teaching young children in church classes. I am a member of our community Civic Improment Club. We serve others in the community which helps provide scholarships for young people to attend college. I am a member of the Daughters of Pioneer organization.
