Hi I'm Wesley Reed

I was born and raised in Las Vegas. I play volleyball, I'm a wakeboarding/wakesurfing/boating addict! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey I'm Wesley and I'm currently a freshman in college. I just got my mission call and I'll be serving in the country of Uganda! I'm very excited. I played volleyball and some basketball throughout all of high school and also was involved in student council. I love going to the lake and wakeboarding and come winter I switch gears and head on up the mountain on snowboard. That's pretty much me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. This isn't why I'm Mormon however. In my family I have the option to choose where my faith lies. I have learned for myself without a shadow of a doubt that this is the true church. I have read the Book of Mormon through and prayed about it's truthfulness. I know the answer I received was from God and living my life according to the standards and teachings of my church make me so happy. It also gives me direction in my life. I know where I've been and I know where I'm going and I'm so very grateful for that.

How I live my faith

The youth my age and I would participate in feeding the homeless and helping out the needy. Especially around Christmas and holidays like that. Right now though I am serving a mission in Kampala, Uganda. I want to share with the people there how grateful I am for my faith and the teachings of my church that guide me in my life and bring me more happiness then anything.
