Hi I'm Ben

I'm a red head. I love other people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am one of 5 children in my family. I have an older brother, an older sister, and two younger brothers. So that puts me right in the middle of all the fun! My relationship with my older siblings is different from that of my younger siblings. When I lived at home I played a lot of video games with my younger brothers and shared some funny experiences that I've had with them. When I attended college I spent more time with my older siblings. Mainly we would visit together and sometimes go out and do something fun like watch a movie, or have dinner together and talk. I like to think of my relationship with my brothers and sister as something that should be normal for everyone. I care about them, and I know they care about me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church since I was baptized at 8 years old. Before that time my parents prepared me to be baptized at 8 by teaching me about Jesus Christ and His gospel. The true gospel has greatly blessed my life, and its because of those blessings that I've chosen to commit my life to Christ and to serve others. The world today is a place of chaos and uncertainty, and many people are searching for the structure and security they need for themselves and for their families. I have found that structure and security in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that it is the true church of Jesus Christ, and that it is the same church that He organized 2000 years ago. Here you will find the true gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel will tell you what you need to do to be happy in this life and in the life to come. I know that we are all sons and daughters of God, and that Jesus Christ is his Only Begotten Son, The Savior of the world, Our Redeemer. I know that by no other means can we recieve a remission of our sins than through Him and His true gospel. All who want peace and happiness for themselves and for their families, I invite you to come unto Christ. He has shown me how to be at peace, how to be safe, and how to be happy. If you allow Him to, He will do the same for you.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith now is by serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As a missionary I have the oppertunity to help many different people with anything they stand in need of. Maybe they want to learn more about who Jesus is, or maybe they just want some help with their yard work. It doesn't matter to me as long as I can help someone else in some way. Providing service for other people is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. Not physically rewarding, but spiritually rewarding! It makes me happy to see another's burden become lighter because I decided to use some of my time to help them out. This is something that has been part of my life from the beginning. Service for others is a core belief in the LDS church. I have had other callings in the church, like being a missionary, that have given me the chance to help others. For example, my friends and I once choose to help the children and parents in our community by putting together child identification kits. These kits were designed to help police officers find children who might one day get lost, run away, or kidnapped. Because we were all part of the church, it was easy for us to organize ourselves and acquire the supplies needed to assemble the kits. I know that those simple kits will bless parents and children in the furture.
