Hi I'm Teresa

I'm an adventurous explorer, a part time pop star, a Sister Missionary and a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wanderer and a student of life. I come from a nomadic background and even though my family has settled, I still come and go. I'm a hairdresser and a singer, but above all an artist. I see art and beauty in all things in this world, I even have a blog that documents my travels via photographs of me levitating. I'm an interesting sort of friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I have seen so much of the world being a gypsy in a literal sense and a cultural sense. I quickly realized exactly what it was that people perceive as "fun" and "happiness" and realized it was real joy to me. The high's of the nightlife lost their magic at 2 am and left you feeling like a pumpkin. When I found the pure love of christ, I felt an even greater high that never left me. I don't feel regret when people offer me things that seem "fun" but aren't of his standards, because I know that I have so much joy in his path. His love is so overwhelming when you realize that he has a plan specifically for you. He sent me here for a reason and there is a work in life that he needs TERESA to do. I have never been happier in all my life than when I am living the life I know he wanted for me. When I came back to the church after a while of "figuring it out" I expected to feel guilty, scorned or abandoned. Instead I felt the incredible love of the lord saying "My precious daughter has come home." I know that he has a love for me that is so deep and so caring. He knows me so closely and he knows what I am going through. I try to know him on the same level. It's true. I will swear it on my life that he is there and he shelters me when I don't think I can make it. I can always turn to him and he will always be there. I don't just believe in him, I KNOW him. And I am so thankful that I can worship him with the fulness of the gospel in his one true church. I'm a Mormon, and I love it. Every moment of it.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a full time missionary for the church in the Tennessee, Knoxville Mission! Greatest mission in the world! Jesus Christ said that if ye love me, keep my commandments and I felt the call in my heart to serve a mission. I took a leap of faith and the very DAY that I got to Knoxville, I knew exactly why the Lord had sent me there! Being a missionary makes me a beacon. When people think of the church they usually think of boys in suits on their door step. I am proud to be that person, but beyond that I am proud to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. I'm proud to serve my fellow man. I'm thankful for the opportunity to care for others and I share my faith with anyone who will listen.
