Hi I'm Meghan

I grew up in Tempe, AZ. I am an Educator, a Mom, and an Army Wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of four wonderful children and the wife of an incredible husband. I love to teach, read, exercise, cook, and most importantly spend time with my family. I find it a true blessing to be able to stay at home with my children. My family and I are able to find joy in whatever we are doing, whether it be traveling, playing games, doing chores, or hanging out in our backyard. Being in the Army, we have learned how precious life really is and to not take anything for granted.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been fortunate enough to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my entire life. Growing up, my testimony fluctuated in its strength and there were times when I wasn't sure if the doctrine was true. During my senior year of high school there was a period of time when I did not attend church because I did not have a testimony. I visited a few other churches and although they were all filled with wonderful people, none of them felt complete. As my life seemed to be falling apart around me, I was finally humbled enough to return to the mormon church and truly study The Book of Mormon. After a few months of fervent prayer and scripture study, the Spirit testified to me of the truthfulness of the gospel. I was able to start putting the pieces of my life back together and although things were still hard, I didn't feel alone anymore. I truly knew that my Heavenly Father knew me personally and cared about what happened to me. My burdens became lighter and I knew that my Savior was carrying me along the path. As I truly became converted to the gospel, I finally felt whole. The gospel changed my life from one of darkness to that of light. To this day, it is my strength, my compass, and above all a precious gift from my Father above.

How I live my faith

In my church I have the opportunity to be able to teach and interact with the youth, in particular the young women. Each Sunday I am blessed in abundance as I teach the youth the things that our Savior wants them to know. One night a week, I also have the privilege of planning and carrying out activities for the youth to help strengthen and solidify their testimonies of the gospel as well as their friendships among peers. I love being able to aid in creating a comfortable and safe environment for the youth of our church to interact with one another and find strength and support.
