Hi I'm Kyle

I am a dreamer. I love adventure and have big ideas. I am soon going to be a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a small farming community, and most of my friends and neighbors are also Mormons. In high school, I played football, ran for the track team, sang in the choir, and played in the band. My dream used to be to be a member of a famous band. I played bass in a rock band with my brother, but we went to separate colleges. Now, I'm a political science major at a nationally respected university and volunteered with a presidential campaign for the United States' 2012 presidential election. My new dream is to be an attorney like my dad, who is one of the greatest guys I have ever met. However, for the past three months, I have been preparing to serve a mission in Bolivia, and I will be there sharing the message of this church for the next two years!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church brings such joy to my life and the life of everyone around me. This summer, I worked with a man who had been a drug addict for the better part of twenty years, and his family and life were falling apart. This church brought him peace and solace, help through his trials, and comfort for his pain. I have never experienced anything else that can bring blessings and change lives like this church can. I have read the Book of Mormon many times, and I know in my heart that it is true. I can't even describe how grateful I am to be a Mormon and know that God loves me, that Christ died for me, and that my prayers are heard and answered.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I have the opportunity to teach a class once a month, and even though most of the people I teach are older than I am, I know that if I am living righteously I will be inspired to teach them what they need to hear. I am going on a mission to Bolivia, where I will spend two years teaching about this church to people who are searching for the truth. This church really focuses on the importance of serving our fellow men, so I have made it a point to search out opportunities to help people I meet in any way I can.
