Hi I'm Lindsay Rowe

I'm a stay at home mom, wife, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a mom to one cute & energetic toddler girl. I am a wife. I love photography, decorating, baking, creating art, re-purposing, and anything hands on. My highest interest right now is photography. I think a photo is worth a thousand words and captures a special moment that otherwise would be forgotten about. I love to blog and share my photos with family & friends far away so they can see what we are doing and see my daughter grow up. Someday I hope to be a professional photographer and help others find joy in photos of their family. I love spending time with my little family and exploring new places. We have fun together and laugh everyday, and that is what makes our life great!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the gospel is true. I love the person I have become because of the church. It has helped me in so many ways. My husband and I moved from southern Utah to northern Virginia 3 years ago and that was the first time I have lived away from my family. But through the church I have been blessed with instant friends. I spend time with those people and feel good when I am around them because we have the same beliefs and values and it helps keep me on the right track. I am a Mormon because I know I have a divine purpose and through the church I can develop my talents, grow, and essentially be the best mother and wife I can be. I am a Mormon because I want to live with a purpose and through the gospel I have been given knowledge that I would otherwise not know. I know that families are forever. I know that there is life hereafter and we will be with loved ones once again. I was born in the church and grew up with a family that is active in the gospel. I was blessed with parents that taught me values to live by and taught me about the church. I want to teach my children those same values and help them understand why they are here on Earth. I hope that through my example they too can gain a testimony of their own and live their lives according to the gospel standards. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I am who I am because of the gospel and I am thankful for it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my meetings each Sunday, strive daily to do things the Lord would approve of, and do my church calling the best that I can. I am the activity leader for the women's organization called the Relief Society. I have a committee that I work with to help come up with wholesome, fun, creative activities that are held monthly at the church. I enjoy this calling because I am creative and outgoing, so I am able to use my interests and talents to help the women have a good time and make friends. I have made a lot of friends through church and am so thankful that it helps me meet people.
