Hi I'm Ariel

I am a student in Elementary Education. I love to be outdoors; an avid runner. A future Missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I would consider myself to a "hopeless romantic".I love to read classic literature and enjoy learning new things in all areas and subjects. As a student I have learned there are so many possibilities and opportunities for anyone that pushes to grow in knowledge. As the oldest of 6 kids I quickly discovered that I wanted to study Elementary Education. If only education was free! Running and working out is what I love to do! I find happiness in feeling accomplished and finishing things I didn't think I could do. I try to push myself and learn new ways staying fit. I'm competitive so you say 50 and I'll do at 51! Living in Utah my whole life has been a blessing to be so close to family and at the center of my religion. I do however enjoy meeting new people from all different corners of the earth and hearing about their lives and culture. I find it amazing that people are so unique and have great personalities and distinguished backgrounds that define them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, but like all who want to know for themselves, I went to my Heavenly Father to ask if the church was true. I felt that I had always known that his church was true from the feelings I felt when I attended church and the love and eternal truths that I had individually known to be true. I have felt such happiness in my life each day and will share what I know to be true and invite others to feel the same as a serve a mission and live my life daily.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by acting upon what I believe to be true. I serve with young single adults and have held many positions or callings within this group. My favorite time is spent serving in leadership roles among the sisters around me. As I live and try to do my best and follow my Savior, I feel his love not only for me but for the sisters and people I serve and help. It is in service that I find who I am, where I am going, and who I hope to become and progress to do so. I am excited to share this with people I don't know but already love in the mission I am called to serve in a couple months-Quezaltenango, Guatemala!!! I also live my faith by continually striving to be worthy and at peace with God. I visit his house which is the temple. I act upon what I feel is right and eventually know to be true for myself. If I fall short or choose to do something I know to be wrong, I redirect my life to God and speak with him in prayer.
