Hi I'm Erica

I was born and raised in connecticut and I now live in North Carolina and I am Mormon

About Me

I am a married mother of 3 girls. I am married to my high school sweetheart (who was non member) I work for a major airline. I loveto travel, spend time with my family scrap book and read. I was born in to the church and spent 15 years inactive. I was a teenage mom and went off the path for a long time. I am very happy to be back on thr right path.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a morman because I have a testimony that this is the true church. I have not always felt that way I was born and raised in the church but when I was a teenager and through my early adult years I decided that the church was not really for me. My husband was a non member and it was just easier to not got and not follow what I then thought was too many rules. I still sent my kids to church with my mom becase I wanted them to follow that road. Years latter I decided I wanted to try and come back to church. It was a long dificult road I would come for awhile and then decide again maybe it wasn't for me but because of some good strong members that kept checking on me and inviting me back I came back I have been an active member for 4 years now. sfter years of meeting with the missianaries my husband eventually joined the church he baptized our youngest daughter and a year latter we were all sealed in the temple together. We are much happier and a stronger family unit. Things are not perfect and we still have our problems and challenges but with the church in our lives we can feel the lords love and can get through anything.

How I live my faith

I enjoy putting my heart and soul into or ward members and the callings I serve in my ward. I am serving in 2 callings right now. I am the ward Librarian and the share the gospel commity leader. I love both callings . being the librarian gives me the chance to talk with each member as the come into get supplies for class on sunday or wednesday activities. My husband and I are also in charge of planning the ward Christmas party this year. I love doing my visiting teaching and checking on the sisters and being avle to help them when they are in need. I also go out with the sister missionaries visiting less active church members, I have made some great friends from going out on these visits. Serving others is the most important part of my faith. I also enjoy being able to attend the temple regularly.
