Hi I'm Luisa Tugaga

I was born and raised in Christchurch City in New Zealand. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a huge fan of sports in general. I really enjoy it. I am passionate about music especially singing. I am currently getting ready to serve my mission and its a really exciting experience for me

Why I am a Mormon

I was actually born and raised in the Church. So I've always been a Mormon. I have never left this Church nor have I ever thought of leaving it too. Although I've been actively involved and committed my entire life in this Church, I too have had moments when I ask myself... "Why am I still a part of this church?... Why do I believe in it so much? Even though I've had quite a few experiences that should've stopped me from believing and attending church each Sundays... Well I call it faith. It is through faith that we know that whatever hardships and trials that we may come across in our lives, that we know that there's a light at the end of every tunnel. It is by reading the scriptures that has helped me to build my faith. It is knowing that there is a Heavenly Father that loves us and will do anything for us if we keep trying and never giving up. Although I have wanted to give up a few times, I am always reminded in myself that anything is possible. If we believe in God and Jesus Christ than "Anything is possible"

How I live my faith

I love participating in different roles in Church. I have worked with The Youth and I love teaching them and relating to them with the things they are going through as I was in the Youth programme 3 years ago. Sharing my experiences have made them feel so comfortable to know that they have someone that they can talk to about the things that they're going through and that from experience that I can somewhat help them out. I am currently our Ward Pianist. So I'm quite active in helping our Ward out with organising the different songs we can sing each week.
