Hi I'm Wenonah Judge

I am a proud member of Long Plain First Nation in Manitoba, Canada. I am a grandmother and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am learning how to quilt and have completed 4 so far with 2 still unfinished. I like to read and to study human behaviour. I attend Education Week at BYU in Provo, Utah religiously - and attend as many classes as I possibly can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was privileged to be the daughter of First Nations parents who accepted the gospel message in 1963 from our two missionaries, Elders Karis and Rice. We lived in Ontario. As a child I knew that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was true. As I grew up I still felt the truth in my heart. Living the Gospel works. I have been blessed abundantly in my life for exampleI have the most beautiful, awesome grandkidz in the world! They are Isabella, Luke and baby Julia. I know that the Gospel is True. I know that my Father and Jesus live and are aware of me and my needs. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet and that Thomas S. Monson is my current prophet. President Monson's examples of service remains an inspiration to me. I know that the Book of Mormon is a second witness of Jesus Christ and it is a history of my ancestors, the Lamanites. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and it contains saving principles and what our faith would name "The Plan of Happiness" and/or "The Plan of Salvation". I invite you to read from this book and partake.

How I live my faith

I teach the children in our congregation about Jesus and how to be like Jesus. I read and ponder my scriptures, and I talk to my Father all the time in my thoughts. I attend the temple and visit lds.org, mormon.org and the mormon channel to learn more about the gospel
