Hi I'm Tanner Jacobsen

I grew up in Riverton, Ut. I am currently serving a mission in the Michigan Lansing Mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love sports, Basketball is my passion. I love spending time with my family and chilling with my Dad and Brother, whether we are golfing, fishing, camping, or hunting. I love every minute of it. I love the scriptures they are amazing and have truly blessed my life. I love all my friends they mean the world to me and am grateful for the people my Father in Heaven has blessed me with.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon by choice, and my choice alone, through studying the scriptures diligently seeking to know the truth of what direction I should go. And obtaining from God which man can't give or take away, and that is a witness from the Holy Ghost that these things are true. It's given me peace of mind and heart and not as the world gives but as Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ gives, there is no greater feeling than Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's love for each and every one of us, the scriptures have proven that many times. And to know that he still loves us by calling a modern day Prophet and that he gave us the Book of Mormon for guidance and direction so we spiritually will never feel lost again. This I know to be true and I ask you to look at the evidence, but look at all of the evidence, the entire mosaic of the Prophet Joseph Smith's life, NOT ANY SINGLE PIECE. Most importantly, do as young Joseph and “(James 1:5) ask … God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given [you].”This is not only how you may learn the truth about the Book of Mormon‍ and Joseph Smith, it is also the pattern to know the truth of all things. (Moroni 10:5)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving my Heavenly Father the best I know how to, and that's by obeying what he asks of me, even if I don't fully understand sometimes. Obedience is the fist law of heaven and we receive blessings when I do the things He asks of me. I know if I give him 100% he will do the same for me and help me learn and grow everday. I let him set the path befor me and I walk it and trust its going to take me to a "far better country." (Hebrews 11:16- But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
