Hi I'm Michael

I'm an Eagle Scout, a missionary, and a Ranger. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I've always been active my entire life. I am an Eagle Scout, earned both my Ranger and my Silver awards in Venturing, and was a Drum Major for two years. I also spent my sophomore year of High School as an Exchange Student to Dorsten, Germany. I love almost all forms of music. I was in Show Choir, Marching Band, Concert band, as well as made All-State. I also love studying medicine and engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that is LDS. Having grown up with church members it was easy to just follow along. But while I was on my exchange in Germany I was by myself. I really had to build my own testimony, and make conscious decisions to follow the gospel. I am thankful to have the church in my life, and to have such a structure to help keep me safe and guide me towards making myself a better person.

How I live my faith

I recently joined a new ward before my mission. This new ward has uplifted me to new heights, and has prepared me to be a missionary more than I ever imagined. I love fulfilling my callings, and participating in activities with other ward members several times a week!

What is faith?

Michael
The simple answer is that Faith is believing without seeing. In essence, faith is the strongest form of hope that we are capable of. Faith is what drives us. Everything we know to be true is just faith that our eyes are telling us "truth". Faith is crucial to all of us, and by using Faith we are able to reach unknown heights. Show more Show less
