Hi I'm Juston

I grew up in Virginia, love my country the United States of America, family, and the arts. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just got back from being a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ as a missionary in the Brazil Santos Mission. I play the viola and the piano. I graduated in the year 2013. I attend Brigham Young University and would like to be a mechanical engineer. I love playing airsoft at Ballahack Airsoft with my dad, brother, and others friends. After college, I hope to earn a commission in the United States Marine Corps. and serve my country as a fighter pilot. I am an Eagle Scout and have participated in a 300 mile bike trip, a 50 mile canoe trip, and a 50 mile backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail with my scout troop. I absolutely love the Dark Knight Trilogy, with the "Dark Knight" as my favorite movie of all time with the "Dark Knight Rises" in close second. In high school I worked for the local YMCA as a lifeguard, then became a Lifeguard Supervisor at the age of 18. I swam on the varsity swim team all four years of high school with the 100 meter breaststroke, the 400 meter freestyle, and the 200 meter freestyle and individual medley going to the district meets all four years. I was in my school orchestra and a regional youth orchestra where I was able to have many awesome experiences playing with the Virginia Symphony and the under the batons of Anthony Maiello of George Mason University, James Glazebrook of Virginia Tech, and JoAnn Falletta and Benjamin Rous of the Virginia Symphony.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true, restored church of Christ. The Book of Mormon is true. The restored priesthood is on the earth today and I have seen miracles from it. I am Mormon because Jesus Christ is my savior, he died for the consequences of my imperfections, and through the Atonement, I can be clean again, and able to enter into Heavenly Father's presence and live with Him again. I am Mormon because the Holy Ghost has made manifest the truthfulness of the church; of the prophet, Thomas S. Monson; and many other things taught in the church. I am a Mormon because I love my Saviour, and because I am a child of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to follow Christ's example each and every day. I recently returned from serving a mission for the Lord, where I learned how I will be able to live my faith every day and strengthen it. I do my best to set an example for all my friends and try to be as kind as possible to all those who I come in contact with. I love serving others, just as Christ did, and share what I have to offer with others. I have served as a children's teacher, cub scout leader, and the ward chorister.
