Hi I'm Caroline

I grew up in South Carolina. I am a music teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Music is a big part of my life. I play the piano and sing, and enjoy listening to and performing a variety of different styles of music. I also love to garden and to cook. When I have time, I enjoy trying my hand at crafts. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my husband and participating in church activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a small town in South Carolina where my brothers and I were the only Mormons in school. While I cannot say it was always easy, I can definitely say it was worth it when I saw time and again how living God's principles kept me safe. As I grew into young adulthood I saw tragedies and injustices that left me wondering how God could allow these things to happen. As I searched the scriptures and turned to the Lord in prayer, the answers I yearned for came a little at a time. I gained an unshakable testimony of the plan of salvation, of the importance of free agency, and of how the Lord can use any seeming tragedy, misfortune, or trial as a way to strengthen and bless us beyond measure as we draw close unto Him. I simply cannot imagine my life with the gospel of Jesus Christ as my anchor. I am grateful for a living prophet who is the Lord's mouthpiece to guide us. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon, which gives greater depth and understanding to the Bible. I am grateful we have temples where family bonds are made eternal. I am grateful for personal revelation from the Lord that helps me know I am where He wants me to be.

How I live my faith

As a children's Primary leader (children's church) I am privileged to work with some of the most wonderful children in teaching them the Lord's principles. I also enjoy serving as an organist and participating in various musical events.
