Hi I'm Lauren

I grew up in Florida. I show my expressions through dance. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a sister, a daughter, and an aunt. I enjoy long walks through brisk, clean, cold mountain air. I enjoy crocheting and drinking herbal tea. I currently am attending college. I am majoring in dance education. The only true way I can fully express my emotions is through dance. Words have never been sufficient enough for me. So I chose dance as an outlet to really let my spirit free.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I was baptized when I was 8. I have wonderful parents who have always shared their testimonies of the truthfulness of this gospel. I have had extraordinary friends who have kept me anchored in His church. All incredible examples to me of what this church does to people. It makes them happy. It makes me happy. I'm happy because I follow His commandments, because I know where I came from and where I'm going, because I know that my Heavenly Father has a plan specific for me so that I may return to him. I am a Mormon because I am happy as a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best I can be. By hoping that someday somebody may look at me and realize I'm different. That they may look at me and wonder why I'm so happy. I strive to live in such a way that people want to know me and want to be better because they've known me. I strive to live in a way where people may see the light of Christ shine through me. Through my actions, words, and deeds. And I do these things not because I'm told to or even because they may make me happy. I already know that if I do these things I'll be happy. But I try to be Christ-like so that way when others meet me, they may want to become as happy as I am.
