Hi I'm Todd Peterson

I grew up in Nevada; served a mission in Guayaquil, Ecaudor; graduated from Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have a beautiful wife and four children. We love everything about the outdoors--skiing, mountain biking, backpacking, etc. These are our hobbies because we like them and because they allow us to spend lots of time together as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the Mormon faith, I am still a Mormon because I have studied the scriptures and prayed to know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and the church previously established by the Savior himself has been restored to earth in these latter-days. I have not seen an angel, but I have felt the Holy Ghost give me feelings of peace and joy, confirming these things are true and that this is God's church on earth. In addition, the sanctity of marriage and the eternal significance of families is not taught and guarded by any other religion like it is by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to live the commandments. Although I'm not perfect, I try to keep the commandments and love God and his children. I have served in many church callings. These callings were mainly with the youth as an advisor or scoutmaster. I also live my faith by trying to build a Christ centered home. I want my children to have faith in Jesus Christ and his role as our Savior and Redeemer. Not only will this faith bless their lives, but society as well.
