Hi I'm Lennine

I was born in Montreal, Quebec. I am a Grandmother of 3. My hobbies are genealogy, reading and art.

About Me

I'm married to my best friend for almost 30 years now. I spent most of life in accounting positions when I wasn't raising my family. I have one daughter, 1 grandson and 2 granddaughters, plus a great grandson. I was very creative from the time I could hold a crayon. I love all kinds of art, needlework and reading especially mysteries. I loved to sew and made my own clothes. When I joined the church I became interested in genealogy. I'm the 11th generation born in Quebec. I've done a fair amount of traveling in my younger years. I'm now a homebody that likes to spend time in my art studio doing mixed media and paper arts.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church in a low period in my life. I was looking for something but I didn't know what. Then the 2 missionaries came to my door. I had so many questions that previous ministers could not answer, that it was refreshing and consoling to have these two young men answer my questions using Scripture. They renewed my faith in religion again. I was also raising a daughter on my own and wanted a stable environment for her. I love that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was all about families. I loved the principles that are taught and how they focus on families. It's been over 33 years and I don't regret a single moment. I've learned more about my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ. My heart is full.

How I live my faith

I love to attend my Sunday meetings. The woman's organization is uplifting and inspiring. I've held many positions in the church from Primary Teacher, Young Women's secretary, Employment specialist, Food Storage Coordinator, Family History Specialist and Consultant; Temple Worker and Councillor in the Women's Group. I love to go visiting teaching with my companion. It is one of my favourite ways to do service for others. My companion and I look forward to visiting each month to leave a Spiritual message.
