Hi I'm Luke

I grew up in Idaho on a small farm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a farmboy from Idaho. I come from a family of 7 kids living on a 42 acre rock field that has some dirt over the top. Sometimes. I love to paintball, play football, basketball, and tennis. I like to hike and ride horses in the mountains. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially on hollidays and when we go hunting or fishing. Something else I enjoy is playing my viola, a hobby that has been with me since 4th grade. With it I can play something to lighten any mood or give peace to a troubled soul, including mine. My friends and I also really enjoy hanging out.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that is what God wants me to be. I am a Mormon because that is what makes me truly happy. Knowing that Heavenly Father loves me and cares about me is sometimes the only thing that gets me moving when I would rather just sit and feel sorry for myself or just laze about. I am a Mormon because I need the Gospel in my life, and I don't know how I could live without it. I am a Mormon so that I can be with my family for eternity and be eternally happy.

How I live my faith

Right now I am in Colorado saving up money to go on my mission. I go to church every week and try to live my life each week according to the things that i have been taught. I try to make sure that what God wants and what I want are one and the same. I try to always have the correct mindset in order to serve others and make everyone's day a brighter one.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

I have come to know my Father in Heaven by sincerely praying to know that He is there, by studying the scriptures, and by adding fasting to my prayers. I have never seen any visions or angels or anything. What I have seen are the blessings that I have in my life. I have felt His presence whenever I have truly needed and wanted Him. He is there, and He cares. Show more Show less
