Hi I'm Peter

I am a Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Friend and Law Student. I love to wear orange and root for Clemson. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have an amazing wife who I met in the second grade. 13 years and a few hundred miles tried to keep us apart but we made it back together and we will be that way forever. I love my energetic and curious son Walker. I graduated from the college of my dreams, Clemson University. After a short stint in the construction industry I am now in Law School and still trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up. My Dad is my rock and my inspiration if only I could be as kind, forgiving, and patient as he is. My mother is a hard working intelligent women who never lets anything knock her down. I wish I had more of her in me too. My six siblings mean the world to me and I would not feel whole if any one of them was not in my life. I love sports and my extreme shyness kept me from succeeding in them. I wish I could play sports now but after 4 knee surgeries to my right knee playing sports again is just a dream. I am quite but funny, I love to speak in front of people but fear walking up to someone and introducing myself. I am better than I have to be but not as good as I could be.

Why I am a Mormon

My life goal is to be happy. I grew up a Mormon and at times knowingly chose not to go to church or to follow the directions of the church leaders. I did these things in order to find happiness. I struggle with social situations and with self esteem. I have anxiety and sometimes it is more than I think I can handle. I have realized that staying true to what I know to be true is the only way to find happiness in this life. Somedays seem like a battle while others are pure bliss. I know families are important to our Heavenly Father's plan. When I come home from a frustrating day at school and open the door to a little boy running and smiling with arms stretched out yelling dada dada my heart melts. I do not understand how much love my Heavenly Father has for me or how he knows me but I do know that he does. I know he has a hand in my life and is rooting for me to succeed. Faith sometimes is a tough thing to have but when you are choosing the right and leaning on to Heavenly Father everything seems so right with the world. I am Mormon because it brings me true everlasting happiness.

How I live my faith

My wife and I just moved but before I moved I taught the 9 year old sunday school class and was the cub master. I am waiting to see how I will be able to serve in my new congregation. I am always sure to help people move in or out when they need it. It is the least I can do to pay back people for all the times I have been helped moving my stuff from one place to another. I love to serve and love being around the youth.
