Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in beautiful Northern Michigan. My passion is to learn and gain knowledge. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from the small town of Elk Rapids, Michigan. I am currently serving in the California Arcadia Spanish-speaking Mission. After my mission I will attend Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, studying Computer Science. I love sports, with my favorite being tennis. I am an avid reader. I have a strong desire to learn and become more knowledgable. I love to travel the world with my wonderful family. I am so very grateful for this life that the Lord has given me.

Why I am a Mormon

Their are several contributing factors as to why I am a Mormon, the first being the simple fact that I want to be happy. Making wrong choices and decisions in this life (i.e. sinning) results in feelings of guilt and shame, and ultimately a life of lasting unhappiness with only small bits of joy scatterred throughout. I understand that it is only in and through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ that I can alleviate such feelings, obtain a remission of my sins, and find an enduring happiness that is otherwise non-existant in this world. I also understand that the only way to access that atoning sacrifice of Christ, and retain a remission of my sins for the remainder of my life, is through the ordinances of the gosepl of Jesus Christ (e.g. baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, the sacrament, etc) which ordinances must be performed by the proper authority of God, or rather, the priesthood. That authority, or priesthood, can only be found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. How do I know that? Because I've studied. I've prayed. And I've received an answer from God Himself through His Holy Spirit. Therefore, I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a two year mission for the Lord, in which I will strive to do all I can to serve the people of my mission and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with all those who are willing to hear it. I know what the gospel has done for me in my life, and I want others to be able to have the same happiness in their lives. I know the Lord has called me for a purpose, to help bring souls back into the fold of Christ, and give people the chance to return to live once again with their Father in Heaven.
