Hi I'm Jill Edwards

I am a mormon, I was born and raised in Utah.We have four sons and eleven grandchildren and one more grandchild on the way

About Me

My husband and I ran Big O Tires in Sandy Utah, for the past 22 years. Now we are retired and serving a LDS church mission in the Wellington New Zealand Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon and I love my religion. I have learned the more I read the scriptures the clearer they become, what a blessing it is to us to have these. I love the fact that I am taught values, and Christlike attributes. My husband and I are teaching English to some refugee's at this time. We feel like we learning so much from them. We teach the 12 Step Addiction Program, what a wonderful program to learn of Heavenly Father's love for all of his children. This is a class that everyone should take, it will help you through out your life. I know that our Father in Heaven would not leave us here on this earth without a prophet to lead and guide us. I know that Pres. Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet today, what a blessing his council and guidance is in my life. I am a Mormon because I love God, and Jesus Christ! I want to strive to live his commandments so that I can return to him someday. I want all of my posterity to be able to return with me, so we can live as a eternal family. I am thankful to be able to serve a 18 months church mission in New Zealand at this time. What a wonderful blessing this is for my husband and my-self to met and serve people, Branch members. How can you not look upon this world and not know we have a loving Father in Heaven. I Love being a Mormon!!!!!

How I live my faith

I have been very blessed through my life, I have had the great opportunity in the church to serve in many different organizations. I worked in the primary-nursery just a few years ago. That is defiantly one of the best, play, sing, have a treat, color pictures, teach a small lesson that we all understand. Who would not like this calling. Having four son's I have been in all the capacities of cub scouting which is a blessing in the lives of these young boys but also for a mother to watch your son's learn and grow. I have been a visiting teacher since the age of 16. This is also a highlight for me. I have been able to visit, teach and work with so many wonderful ladies, they have taught me so much. I thank our Heavenly father every day for the opportunity to serve in his church.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Jill Edwards
We are serving a LDS Church mission in the Wellington New Zealand mission. This is one of the greatest blessings for us. We love meeting and greeting so many people, we love to talk about the love Jesus has for everyone on the earth. We love to teach about the Plan of Salvation, and baptism, we especially love to teach about eternal families and the importance of a strong family. Show more Show less
