Hi I'm Michelle Jones

I grew up in Utah. I love sushi. I'm a football fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a sophomore in college. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, but I'm trying hard to figure it out. I was a cheerleader in high school, and I loved it. I was a dancer for 10 years before that and played basketball for 8. I love to watch the NFL and I'm a huge Cowboys fan. I hate sea food, but I crave sushi all the time. I have the best roommates in the world, and the most amazing family. I'm an optimist and a lover of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, so for a lot of years I relied on my parent's testimony to know what I believed. As I got older I started reading the Book of Mormon on my own, and slowly I started to gain my own testimony. I had great church leaders who taught me all about the church and answered the questions I had about the doctrine, but the one thing that gave me my own testimony was the Holy Ghost. When I was 15 I had an experience I will never forget. One of my best friends in Junior High was not a member, and was asking me why I believed what I believe. At that point, I didn't exactly know the answer to that question, but as we kept talking it finally hit me. The spirit testified to me that night that this is the only true church on the earth today. I will never doubt whether or not this church is true again. I know it without a shadow of a doubt. This gospel is what brings true joy to those who live it. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I would not be who I am today if it wasn't for the gospel.

How I live my faith

I'm on the Activities Committee for the Relief Society, and I love it. I get to help plan fun actictivities and learning oportunities for the girls in my ward. I try to serve others and show compassion to everyone around me.
