Hi I'm Jed

I live in England, I am a FreeRunner and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy sports and often challenge myself at things so Free Running is the best thing for me. I also enjoy making videos on YouTube. At the moment I am trying to beat a world record in the Guinness World Record's for most front flips in a minute. I am the oldest in my family and have four sisters. I also enjoy athletics however I couldn't get in because it involved competing on Sunday's. However if I still went to that club I would have never found out about Free Running. I have improved on this for over 2 years. It has blessed me because I sometimes use it as a thing to let out my anger. Instead of letting it out on someone else. I try to make the home a better place for the people in it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have a testimony about it. I know that the prophets are true and speak the truth and that they speak the word of God for us In these days. There are lots of evidence for it to be true. The church is always making me a stronger and happier person. There are lots of experiences were my prayers have been answered. Once I got lost and seperated from my Dad and had my two youngest sisters with me. After about 30 minutes of searching for him my sisters started to want Dad and started to cry. So I prayed that we will might be able to find him. Then afterwards I told my sisters don't worry we will find him and we started walking round the corner and there he was. This is not the only story I have and there are many others I have.

How I live my faith

I am envolved in the youth program at church. This means that they focus the lessons on younger people. I can prepare the sacrament by bringing the bread and filling up the cups with water. I am also the only active Young Man in my church so sometimes I have a lot of responsibilities so at the start of church I can assign people to help me pass the sacrament with me. When I turned 14 I was also able to home teach. You home teach in groups of two. We teach six different families/individuals each month. I really enjoy this. We are there to look after them and make sure they are all right and help them get to church and other activities. We also sometimes do service for them. In the youth program our leaders also create fun activities for us each week. We also do service for the local community. For example we once painted a home for disabled people and we once litter picked one of the nearby parks. I have also moved snow off a the driveways of people down my road.
