Hi I'm Marc

I grew up in Utah, have a beautiful family, am attending dental school. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with my family. I like to take photographs. I love thinking of new innovative ideas. I love to learn. I am currently in dental school and enjoy providing a service that changes lives. Giving others a reason to smile is something I always try to do.

Why I am a Mormon

Through the power of prayer I have received much help and guidance in my life life. I have learned through experience that my heavenly father loves me and wants me to be happy here on earth, even if I do fail at times. It is through prayer that I am able to communicate with him and receive answers to my questions. I know that he has called a prophet, as he has in times past, to guide and lead us. I find that when I follow the council of these men called of God, I am happier, have more of a desire to serve others, and am saved from unwanted heart ache, sorrow and pain. These men give council to help me in all aspects of my life. As I strive to live in a way that is in accordance with my God, I realize that I am not perfect and do things that I know I shouldn't at times. I am thankful for the atonement of our savior Jesus Christ and the knowledge of the principal of repentance. Everyone can repent and change, it feels good! Many church's teach some of the things I have mentioned, but the reason why I am a Mormon is that it has the true power God. I have had to find this out for myself through studying, pondering and praying. It is through the personal relationship that I have with my Heavenly father that I have come to the knowledge that this is the one true church, and I know anyone who really wants to can know for themselves as well. We have even been given more words from past prophets that lived here in the ancient Americas in a book called the Book of Mormon. This book is a guide to me in my life and I know it is comes from God, which helps me know of the truth of this Church. I invite all of those that would like to know more about the Mormon's to read this book. Most importantly, I am Mormon because it is through this power of God, that has been restored, that I will one day be able to live with my family forever together, the greatest gift that I can think of.

How I live my faith

I am able to help with the cub scouts in my local church unit. I love working with the boys. Helping them learn important life lessons is rewarding and I am glad I have the opportunity to serve. I also have the chance to visit a couple of families each month. Visiting these families and reporting back to my leaders helps my bishop know how they are doing without him having to visit each and every family. Being involved with a group of people that cares about each other has made my life so much easier, especially at this time while I am away from family. I know someone is always there if I need help. I attend church each week and take the sacrament to renew covenants that I have made with my God. I look forward to the uplifting messages and lessons that are given and know that they will help me have one more week with a good outlook on life and a desire to help others.
