Hi I'm Alauna Autentico Stone

I'm a Mormon

About Me

My life mostly revovles around my five children. They are into football, volleyball, water polo, swimming, dancing, singing, band, drama, scouts and of course school. My oldest is on a mission in North Carolina. He loves being a missionary and serving the Lord. My husband owns a used car lot and we are lucky to still be in business with the current economy. I chalk it up to paying our tithing and shutting down on Sundays. We have been blessed. I teach Zumba! It's such a fun way to exercise and my students are the best! They are so much fun and keep me energized.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel so blessed to have been raised by wonderful parents who taught me by example to be a follower of Jesus Christ. As a child I loved going to church. As a teen the standards became harder to keep. Through my own tests and trails, I found out for myself that true happiness comes from living a Christ like life. That is why I am a Mormon. The Plan of Salvation helps me to have an eternal perspective. I know why I am here on the earth. I am here to learn and grow. I know that my Heavenly Father lives and loves me. I know that through obedience to His gospel principles we can find joy and happiness in a world so full of trails and tragedy.

How I live my faith

I try to live by the morals and standards that Christ has set for me. I am not perfect, for sure! But, I am grateful for the knowledge of His gospel and repentance. I try to serve others at church and in our local schools. I love my life. I am so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The plan of happiness keeps me grounded as the world seems to creep in at times. I have a master's degree in Social Work and have never been able to use it. But, I know that raising my family is the most important thing that I can be doing right now. The eternal rewards will all be forever worth any personal sacirifce that I have made. I am so grateful to my Savior for His atoning sacrifice that allows me the hope of being with my family forever!
