Hi I'm Tania

I've lived in Utah, California, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I'm a mother of 5 children. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Although its not easy, I love being a mom! I love history. I enjoy writing. Occasionally I get to read grown up books! I enjoy listening to podcasts--it helps pass the time involved in cleaning and cooking. As a family we like exploring and hiking and there are plenty of opportunies here in Southern Utah!

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ helps guide me. It helps me live a life with purpose and meaning. The gospel helps me prioritize decisions in my life--the big decisions and the little day to day choices. I'm a mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ is true! It brings me peace.

How I live my faith

I've worked in Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts--and surprised myself by loving it! I've taught home preschool with each of my kids--usually organiazing a small neighborhood group where the moms take turns teaching. I volunteer with our school's PTA organizations--currently serving in one group as President Elect. I also take turns teaching toddler story time at our community library. At church I currently am a leader in our women's group and have many opportunities to visit other ladies and to teach.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

I know that families can be together forever. We need to learn how to treat each other in such a way that they will WANT to be with us forever. Now is the time to learn and practice--and make changes and forgive--so that we have developed a relationship where we want to be with one another forever. Show more Show less

What is the Relief Society?

Relief Society is a resource! Whenever I have moved to a new area Relief Society has been a place to make friends, to learn about the local area, and a place to learn things about the area that help my family. You have a whole network of women from all walks of life who share the same values. Relief Society has also provided opportunties to provide meaningful service. Recently when there was a serious floood in our town the Relief Soceity organized to provide numdreds of meals to volunteers and victims. Me make sack lunches and also took meals directly into the homes of those who were still cleaning out muddy basements. It was a blessing for me to help do something meaningful after feeling so helpless immediately after the flood. Through the years there are things I remember other ladies shared in Relief Society that have come back to my memory when I've needed them. There are things about parenting, about difficult challenges, and even simple tips that I've needed. What others have shared has stuck with me and helped me when I needed it the most.
