Hi I'm Ryan McCorristin

I am happily married. I work for an internet company as a trainer. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the middle of nine kids. I have moved all over the place. I have lived in Idaho, Florida, Georgia, and Utah. I went on a mission for the church to Guatemala. I have been married to my beautiful wife since 2009. I am currently going to school for my Bachelors in Business Administration. I work at an internet company as a trainer.

Why I am a Mormon

The biggest reason that I am a Mormon is because, when I married my wife, it wasn't "till death do we part." We have been married for eternity! This is such a comfort to me because I will be able to be with the ones I love after this life. This gives me a purpose in life because what I do in the life, will determine what happens in the next. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, I will be able to conquer death and live with Him and my family once more. There is no better feeling in this life. Another big reason I am a Mormon is because I know that Jesus Christ personally leads the church through prophets and apostles. These men were called of God just like Peter, James and John in the New Testament. It is the same organization that Christ set up while he walked here on the earth. Knowing that we a prophet today, shows that Heavenly Father loves us. It shows that we have not been abandoned or left to figure things out for ourselves in these Latter Days.

How I live my faith

It isn't easy being a Mormon in today's society or any member of a Christian Church. I strive to be the best person I can by following the teachings of Jesus Christ. It isn't the most popular thing to do. I do it because I find that it brings more joy to my life. It brings an inner peace that only Christ can give. What the world has to give doesn't last. It might be gratifying in the moment but then brings heartache and pain. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ brings peace. It brings peace by me knowing that I am making my Father in Heaven proud of me. It brings joy when I go out and do service for others. Helping others beings a joy that nothing else can bring. Teaching others and leading them to Christ is one of the best feelings that I have had. Seeing someone else change for the better has no other equal. When they start on the path to him and grow in faith and love of our Savior, it brings such great joy! This makes the jokes and rejection from those that don't understand me being a Mormon worth it!
