Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in Beaverton, Oregon. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in college. I love to play badminton and table tennis. I am an Eagle Scout, and I have a deep background with the Boy Scouts of America. I am currently a Biology Major, with an emphasis in Human Biology. Right now I am exploring different careers in the medical field. However, my main area of focus right now is in preparing to serve a 2 year mission for my church.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family that was deeply committed to the principles taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My whole life I have been active in this church, and the opportunity I had to be baptized into this church at age 8 was the greatest blessing I could ever hope to receive. I have gained a personal testimony of this gospel, and because of my testimony, I know that there is nothing in this world that could possibly bring greater happiness and joy to my life than the blessings that come from abiding by the precepts of this Church. This is the restored gospel on the earth, and I know that there is no other church that better represents Christ than this one. The members of this church are not perfect, but those who truly strive to live by the doctrines of this church are perhaps some of the most virtuous people alive.

How I live my faith

I believe that as members of this church, we must learn what it truly means to come unto Christ. I live my faith by devoting everyday to serving Christ to the best of my abilities. Sometimes I do this by participating in community service, other times I fulfill this responsibility by actively participating in church callings or duties. And sometimes the best way for me to serve Christ is by sharing his gospel with others. But ultimately, I live my faith by living by the teachings of Christ and in turn, strengthening my testimony of and relationship with the Savior.
