Hi I'm Betty Sue Reeves

I grew up in nevada, and Mississippi. When I was 16 I moved to Utah and been here ever since. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am a mom a grandma and a great grandma. I like to read, painting, and puzzles .

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon and it has played a big part in my life. I lost both of my parents when I was young and the church taught me that I would be able to be with them again on the other side. It also helped me stay focused in my youth it kept me on the right path. I do know the church is true, and that President Monson is a true prophet today. I love the messages they give us, they are so uplifting and guides us in the way of Jesus and the way we are to live. When we were experiencing sorrow and distress the members of the church was there for us.

How I live my faith

I enjoy visiting teaching. I was Relief Society president, and enjoyed being a counselor twice. I enjoy going to the Temple when I can.I Iike reading church material. Going to church and indexing. I have been a primary teacher and been on the funreal commitee. I just enjoy everything wholesome and that good for me and my family.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

Betty Sue Reeves
The church leaders have always taught to be prepared and get our food storage ready so in case of disasters. That we would be ready and have the food and water for us and any one would be in need.It teaches us that we can depend on our selves in times of need. The church has also taught us to keep our debt paid down and to try and have some saving in case of emergancys. Show more Show less
