Hi I'm Paula

I live in the South. I love BBQ, gardening, and warm summer nights that smell like honeysuckle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have five children and seven grandchildren. I love to garden and take long bike rides in the country with my husband. Our family loves to gather at the North Carolina beach every summer where we eat too much, take walks, swim, and laugh together. My family is very important in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky to be born to Mormon parents who love God and wanted to serve him, and helped me to learn about my Heavenly Father. While is was easy to 'go with the flow' I had to gain a witness for myself that the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints were true, and the the Book of Mormon was a companion to the Bible and another testament of Jesus Christ. I have studied, read, and prayed, and know that God lives, He loves me, and that this is His church. I know that God wants me to be happy, and through modern prophets, He has shown me the way to have joy in this life and how I can return to His presence with my family.

How I live my faith

I am serving an LDS mission with my husband in South America and love working with the young missionaries and the members here. The Mormons who live here have many challenges, but they face them with smiles and love. I miss my children and grandchildren, but am honored to be a representative of Jesus Christ with a name tag that identifies me as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
