Hi I'm Andrew Trias

I grew up in Southern California. I love to play baseball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I was always the competitive type of kid. My father put me in baseball at the age of 5 years old, and immediately fell in love with it! I was the starting pitcher for my high school's varsity squad at the start of my sophomore year in high school. I am an eagle scout, and I love doing anything that involves the outdoors. I am also currently attending college.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not always a Mormon. I was converted at the age of 11 back in Hemet, California. For a time it was just me and my father. Until one day he met his soon to be wife and my soon to be step-mom. My step-mom was a member of the church, but was currently not active. One day she had the desire to go to church one day, and we all agreed to go. We eventually were going every Sunday, and eventually had the missionaries at our house. I think it was the second meeting with the Elders that I knew in my heart that this is the true church of God. I was baptized and confirmed a month later. My father though still didn't have that same desire. We eventually moved to "Mormon Country" aka Utah. My father having gone through many sets of missionaries finally had the spirit testify to him that these things that were being taught to him were true, and the blessings that this gospel brings are amazing. My father was eventually baptized, and a year later my whole family was sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. I know that my dad met my mom for a reason. Our Heavenly Father always has a purpose for each and everyone of us. He knows' everyone of us, and what we have been through. I'm grateful for the blessings that it brings to me and to my family. And I say these things in the name of thy Son Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

In the neighborhood that I am currently living in and have lived in for 6 years I have had the opportunity to put out the American flag in front of homes during special holidays. This the scouts and I do in order to help raise money for our troop so that we can attend scouting events, and go on camp outs. My situation is pretty neat, because I have the opportunity to home teach with my dad. Being able to teach with him and hear his testimony has greatly impacted mine, and has made it stronger.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Andrew Trias
We as Mormons are grateful, and have and amazing amount of love for the prophet Joseph Smith, this being said we do not worship him. We worship our Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. Our Heavenly Father used Joseph as a tool in Restoring the Gospel once again upon the earth. He was a man of extremely great faith and will forever be remembered and loved. Show more Show less
