Hi I'm Jace

I grew up in northern Utah, I'm currently going to college and working towards earning a degree, and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing all sports, but my two favorite sports are baseball and basketball. I have been playing both of those since I could walk. I really enjoy listening to music and I also love playing the drums. I started playing the drums when I was in 8th grade. As far as family life goes, I have a large, loving family, and I care for all of them greatly. We don't all live together anymore but I've learned to cherish the time I get to spend with each one of them and I couldn't ask for a better family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for more reasons than I can count. I know that this the restored church of Jesus Christ. Growing up in the church, it was easy for me to just accept that this was the true church and I never really questioned anything. As I got older, I realized that I could no longer rely on my parents' testimonies or the testimonies of others to use as my own testimony. I had to know for myself that this was the right church. I read The Book of Mormon, and prayed as sincerely as I could to know if this was the true church. I was expecting some great and prolific answer to come right away, so when I didn't feel or hear anything, I was slightly disappointed. I struggled for a little bit until I realized something; I had a testimony all along. It wasn't some miraculous event for me, but a gradual progression. I saw the way that this church had blessed my life, and the lives of so many other people before me. I knew that my life would be nowhere near where it is today if I were not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. and I thank Heavenly Father everyday for the blessings and opportunities he has given me. I know that our Father in Heaven lives, and I know that he answers all of our prayers. If you ask in faith, he will help you to know through the Holy Ghost, that the Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing some of the most basic things. I strive to live by Jesus Christ's example and live his teachings. I do my best to love and care about others, and to show my respect for Christ's atonement by keeping his commandments and the covenants or promises I have made with him. A way I show my love for others is by serving others. I try to look for every opportunity I have to help someone in need, whether that's simply by helping them with yard work or helping them deal with the struggles and trials they are facing in life. I attend church every Sunday, where I learn more and more about His gospel. Daily scripture study has been a huge part of my life; I can't express how grateful I am for having The Bible and The Book of Mormon to read and study from each day.
