Hi I'm Misty

I'm a happy wife and a stay-at-home mother of five. I love my family! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently taking piano lessons and love to play music by Jon Schmidt. I enjoy sewing for my children and finding new healthy recipes to make for dinner. I like running and spin cycling, going places and seeing new things. When my cute little redhead takes his nap, I sometimes get to enjoy a good book.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon all of my life. I don't know how I would live without this knowledge and testimony that I have. We lost our little three year old daughter in a drowning accident. That experience has changed my life forever in ways I could not have imagined. I miss her terribly, but I know that she is with her Heavenly Father and I would never want to take that away from her. Because of the atoning sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ, our family will be together again. I love Him for all that He has made possible for my family. I hope I can spend the rest of my life in His service.

How I live my faith

On Sundays, I get the opportunity to teach all of the children in my ward. I love being with them and hearing them sing about Jesus. It helps me to remember what life is all about.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe the family is the most important unit in time and in eternity. Families were always meant to be together forever. All we do as a church is to ensure that this opportunity is available to all our Heavenly Father's children. Show more Show less
