Hi I'm Alexandria Wells

I love people, technology, big cities, and sharing the good news! I'M A MORMON!

About Me

I'm passionate about three things. The first is sharing the good news that Christ's truths have been restored in their fullness today! I had an opportunity to serve the people of Michigan for 18 months, and it was one of the best and hardest experiences I've ever had. The second is family. I love my husband and two chihuahua as well as the amazing people that raised as well as my in-laws. They are my constant. The third is fashion! I love helping people elevate their style and feel more confident!

Why I am a Mormon

I feel that if I didn't have the gospel in my life, I wouldn't know the purpose of being here. The church gives me hope and knowing the love of my Savior brings me joy and peace. The companionship of the Holy Ghost gives me direction in a world full of wrong paths. The Book of Mormon is full of truths we see in this day in age. I am confident in the knowledge that I can live with my beloved family and my Father in Heaven, even His Son, Jesus Christ who made it possible after I die and forever.

How I live my faith

I grew up in a place where very few Mormons live. This provided me with endless opportunities to share the gospel or 'good news.' It was definitely hard being different, but once I learned to embrace my religion an share it with others, I found my example brought others happiness. More and more people could sense a positive difference about me and wanted to know more about the church. I'm a firm believer in living in the world but not of it.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Alexandria Wells
Heavenly Father (God) does not need our money, He has everything. He has also given us everything. We are commanded to share ten percent of what we earn to help our brothers and sisters and to continued building the church He has restored. Show more Show less

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Alexandria Wells
I think it is very important to work together in unity as husband and wife. Love for one another should be first, and then a happy and joyous family can be built upon that. Together they provide for the children's emotional, spiritual, and physical needs. It is vital that children have memories of both parents and their equality in fulfilling these roles. What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Alexandria Wells
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints believes are that we should love everyone. Christ would not discriminate against anyone, however we do acknowledge that marriage is ordained of God. God has instructed marriage be between a man and a woman. The church does not consider the feelings of same sex attraction a sin. What they do consider a sin is acting on the feelings of same sex attraction. Treating someone poorly because of their sexual orientation isn't benefiting the family anymore than same sex relationships. Show more Show less
