Hi I'm Rebekah

I grew up in Blackfoot, ID. I enjoy music, playing sports, and I am Mormon

About Me

During my life I have learned how important music is to me and my family. My family consists of 10 children and a mom and dad. My whole family has learned how to play at least one musical instrument. I, however, have learned how to play more musical instrument than the rest of my family. I love music and the influence it can bring into my life. I also enjoy playing many different sports, but soccer is my favorite out of all the sports I have played. I also enjoy going to my families cabin in Wallowa Lake, Oregon every summer.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the privilege of growing up Mormon and not having to search for the truth and the happiness it brings into ones life. Even though I grew up Mormon I did not always believe as strongly as I do now. When I was about 14 I realized that I would have to find out for myself if the Mormon church was true as I search the scriptures and prayed that I would know if the Mormon church was true I slowly came to realize it was. I didn't receive a grand vision, but as I looked at my life I realized how blessed and happy my life was. I realized that the reason for all ha happiness was because of the church. While most people see the rules of the church binding, I found the liberating and saw how they helped me have a happier life.

How I live my faith

In the LDS church I have helped in many ways, While I was a teenager I helped plan activities for the other youth in the church. I also helped other youth as we went around collecting money for charity. I also had the privilege of playing the piano and leading the music in the church.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being Mormon is not any different than being a normal person. While we do seem to live higher standards then the rest of the world we are ordinary people who have cares like everyone else. We believe that we should always strive to serve those around us giving all we can. Show more Show less
