Hi I'm Jesse

I eat, I sleep, I work, I play, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love sports. I'll play any sport and end up enjoying it. My favorite sports are wrestling and rugby, but I also really like basketball, volleyball, football, swimming and biking. I also like many board games. Mainly I just like to play. I am an Eagle Scout. I also enjoy food very much, and am not too picky about what I eat, given it's healthy for me. I like to try new things, especially if they seem fun or irregular.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Book of Mormon is true, and I have faith and hope in the fact that we can live together with our family and friends again after we die. There has been so much I've learned in the Church about live and how it can be made easier to live. I always strive to be a better person each day, and there are many advices in the scriptures, explanations by leaders, and fellowships by neighbors and friends that assist me in my goal. I grew up in a heavily Mormon community, where being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints could tend to be more of a local custom than a religious obligation. However, I studied and found the truth for myself as we are all invited to do. I am independent in my faith and actions. I had a great example set by my parents and grandparents, for which I am very greatful. Their happiness and success was what I've always strived to achieve, and through Christ's teachings I am able to find it little by little.

How I live my faith

I play hard but keep it clean. I try to live the church's standards so that others can see how much it can help us in our daily lives. When it comes down to it, we've been told to love God and love one another. I pray daily and try to help others.
