Hi I'm Quentin

I five daughters and nine grandchildren. I work in healthcare IT. I draw and paint portraits. I swim laps. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the woman of my dreams. We have a nice garden with over 100 roses. I've been taking art classes for six years and like to draw and paint portraits. Four of my daughters live on the West Coast with their families and my middle daughter lives on the East Coast.

Why I am a Mormon

My family became Mormons when I was fifteen years old. We were looking for a different church, and my mother asked the Mormon missionaries to tell us about their church. The more we learned the more we felt at home with this new religion. We found that the members were friendly, straightforward people that prioritized family, honesty, and just being good. When we prayed about the church, we knew that we should join it. This was a big step for us, because there were many churches in our hometown, but to get to the Mormon church, we had to drive an hour each way every Sunday. We started doing that, and we liked being Mormons, and the long commute to church became the new normal for us. Now, forty years, later, I look back: I married in a Mormon Temple for time and all eternity, and we had five daughters. They have all grown up to be solid, responsible adults, largely because of their religious roots. I am proud of them and their families.

How I live my faith

For the past four years, my church calling was to help people find employment. Just recently I've been asked to help with missionary work and activities. I try to be of service whenever I can and leave the world a better place.
