Hi I'm Lewis

I'm from Utah. I'm in college and hope to become a pediatrician. I do sports like motorcycling and skiing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm just a young guy going to college and working towards being a pediatrician although it'll be a lot of work. I have a wonderful mom and dad who raised 5 kids one of which is myself. My family loves the outdoors and I especially like doing sports like dirt biking, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and skiing. Last ski season I tore my ACL in my knee and had surgery. At first it was so painful and felt like it would never get better, but now it is almost back to normal and gives me the motivation to try harder each day to overcome things that I know I can. I enjoy life and live by the motto: don't let anything bother you more than 5 minutes or else you are wasting the time God has given you for this life. I like making people laugh and enjoy lots of forms of wholesome entertainment such as hanging out with friends, being outside, and finding out fun ideas for dates to go on with girls. I also love to play the guitar and piano and listening to lots of music. Always finding a way to brighten the life around me is what I want to do because being happy is the way to go.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I have put my faith in God and asked Him in prayer if it was true. God answered that yes it was and I know that God will answer any prayer if you have faith and it is according to His will. I continue to follow His gospel because it makes so much sense: it is simple, fair, and pure knowledge of truth. I also follow this gospel because of the feelings I get from the Holy Ghost. Whenever I read my scriptures or attend the temple, I am filled with His spirit and love. Being apart of this gospel is the greatest thing anybody could do in this mortal life. I also want to be with my family that I love forever and this is the only church which provides everything required to be with your family again after this life and to return to live with God again. This church makes me more happy and provides greater fulfillment than anything else that I do from day to day. I wish that every person would accept this Gospel because I want everyone to be able to have the Joy that I feel.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week and I enjoy every minute of it. I also go with my youth group each week and do fun activities or do acts of service for those in my neighborhood. I go hometeaching or visit a family in my ward each month and talk to them and take turns with my dad giving lessons. It's neat to be able to get to know those families and create friendships. I know that being part of the LDS faith isn't enough, the only way for God to fully bless you is to be fully active in His Gospel and help others.
