Hi I'm Amy

I love to ride dirt bikes. I'm a graphic designer and illustrator, a wife and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family growing up went dirt biking together for almost every Holiday and vacation - we still love to spend time together riding in the mountains. I have since married started my own family - I am sharing with my new family my love of dirt biking, and am learning to enjoy the things my husband loves as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised going to Church every week, reading scriptures with my family and praying together daily. My childhood and adolescence were joyful. As I have observed countless other lifestyles, choices, and consequences, I have come to know for myself that living the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is the only path to true and lasting happiness in this life, and in the life to come. I have read the Book of Mormon dozens of times. I know it is true, and that living by it's precepts has brought me closer to my Savior. I know that the Book of Mormon was brought forth by the prophet Joseph Smith - who saw God and Jesus Christ. Under their direction he restored the Church of Jesus Christ to the Earth, just as it was when Christ was here Himself, with the same power and authority necessary to perform saving ordinances such as baptism. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet on the Earth today, just as Noah, Abraham, and Moses were prophets in their days. I know that as I follow his counsel, which comes from the Lord, I find happiness and safety from the snares of the devil - who is real and only seeks to make men miserable, like himself. Most importantly, I know that Jesus Christ lived for us, died for us, and was resurrected - that we too might live again. Because of His Atonement, or great and eternal sacrifice, Christ understands and loves me personally and perfectly and can make intercession for me before God's throne. Through prayer, I can access the powers of Heaven to find healing, forgiveness, solace, direction, and peace - and so can you. God lives. He loves each of us and is infinitely aware of the challenges we face. He stands with open arms waiting to receive us. I am eternally grateful for the joy I have found in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Alberta Canada. There I gained a love of teaching the Gospel and sharing my testimony of Jesus Christ. I now have the opportunity to share what I know every week with my wonderful class of 11 year olds at church. I also am the choir pianist for our ward. It is challenging, but it feels great to use one of my talents to help others feel the Spirit through music.
