Hi I'm Jessica Worley

I am a divorced, single-mom. I am a student. I am a fledgling blogger. I am a Mormon

About Me

I was raised in eastern Washington, the youngest of five children. I spent several years singing with our city children's choir and involved with various performing arts programs. I love music, it is a powerful element that can change an atmosphere in moments. In 2000, I gave birth to my first child, after many years of infertility. I love being a mom, I love making lunches, I love laughing with and teaching my children. I have three children now and I am raising them as a divorced, single-mom. We have a beautiful life, because we have an understanding of where we came from and where we are going. We know that we are not alone, we are Together Forever!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS home, my parents were sealed together, with our family, for time and all eternity when I was 5 years old. I have never forgotten the love and joy I felt that day in the Seattle Temple as I stood with my family. I knew that I was so loved and I have always known that I would want to share that love with my own children one day. I am not perfect, I have had my trials and struggles, but I am confident that my Savior has given me a gift of love and forgiveness. He is ready for me, the moment I am ready to reach for Him. I know that the love I felt that day in the temple, was the love of my Savior and this knowledge is what holds me to the Gospel during the hard times.

How I live my faith

I teach the 4 & 5 year olds in our ward Primary organization. It is a wonderful opportunity for me to share love and Gospel truth with eleven sweet, rambunctious little children! I adore each and every child in my class and I can just feel the Savior's love radiating from them all of the time, they want so much to be taught by His spirit. I enjoy my calling because it is natural for me to love and teach children. It is what I do at home and it is how I believe the Lord wanted his people to be in communities. We all have important things to share with others in our lives, even the tiniest child has a lesson to share. I am grateful for the opportunity to call these sweet spirits "my kids"!
