Hi I'm Tad Sargent

I grew up in Morgan, Utah. I love sports, outdoors, family, friends. I am a Mormon

About Me

Well i come from a decend size family. I am one of five, two older brothers and two older sisters. Right now I am serving a mission in the Manchester, England Mission. I love really anything that is outdoors, sports, mountain biking, wakeboarding, dirt biking, hunting and just having a good time with the family. Before my mission I was working as, a stone mason on the Brigham City Temple. When the time comes, I plan on going home and going into a business degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised up in the church all my life. I have seen so many blessing from being apart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been blessed so much in my life by keeping strong in my Faith. I have a strong Testimony in this Gospel, that the Power of prayer works. If you seek what you want and just ask with real intent that you can receive any answer you are looking for. One of the things that I love about being a Mormon is, that I have a purpose in this life and that I am able to reach the Potential that I have. It is so good to know that we all have a aiming point in life. Being a Mormon gives me that comfort knowing that I am not in this alone. That we have our Heavenly Father that watches out for us.

How I live my faith

Well I think that their is so many ways that you can live your faith. I think that something that I have always tried to do is just to the best that I can each and everyday. Being a Mormon, has blessed my life more then I can even imagine. I try to follow the Saviour in my life and make sure I am fulfilling his plan each day. Some things that I did in the church was helping with the little kids, teaching the primary. I taught the sunbeams class 3~5 year old. I also taught the 10~11 year old boys. I went out visiting teaching once a month to two family's. I often went to young men's each week, we always had something fun to do each week. Right now though, I help people here in England to find the Joy that comes with following the Saviour. It has been so good to help those that are out there searching for the Gospel, a purpose in life, why they are here? It has made me really think that my faith in Christ is such a big thing to me and it is such a blessing knowing that I am a Child of God.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Tad Sargent
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is, that he suffered all the sins of mankind. He went about fulfilling his Fathers plan. The necessary need for the Atonement, is so we can all be resurrected when Christ comes and be able to live with our Father in Heaven again. It is only through the Atonement that we are able to be reunited with our Family's and become closer to our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Tad Sargent
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, focus on helping others a lot. Of course we look after one another, but we love to help people out in many ways as we can. The church has several programs through out the world that focus on helping community's. We have so many missionaries that are out in the world today, that go out to serve the Lord and all of the time that they are out serving the Lord is all focused on other people, and bring them the joy that comes from being a Mormon. We learn in the Scriptures that we are to help one another. So I would say that Mormons help out anyone that they can or that are in need of. Show more Show less
