Hi I'm Linda

I am married and have two sons. I live in New York. I love economics and cooking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated with a BA in Economics, but now I am learning about relationships and child development. I love to exercise, especially to running and yoga. I love cooking and cleaning, which comes in handy as I take care of my 2 young boys. My husband is in graduate school. I also love to sing, and I wish I could practice more, but I can't when my sons are napping.

Why I am a Mormon

Reading the Book of Mormon fills my heart and body with a power that I know comes from God. I was born to parents who raised me to attend church and follow Jesus Christ, which has been a huge blessing to me as I have enjoyed the blessings of the gospel all my life. Since being baptized when I was 8, I tried to follow God's commandments so I would be worthy to have the Holy Ghost help guide my choices and fill me with happiness. Many times I have prayed and felt answers that I know are from our Heavenly Father. Every day I see things that show me his love. I know that all pain and struggles will be made fair someday, even if after this life, because of Jesus Christ's atonement. I know that if we trust in God, we will be supported in our struggles. Heavenly Father loves us. I know I can live with him after my mortal life, if I follow his laws, which are found in the restored gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a Mormon because I feel in my heart, every day, that this church is true.

How I live my faith

Thanks to my mom, I can play the organ well enough to accompany singing, so some Sundays I'm the organist. I also teach a class on Sundays that covers basic doctrines of the church.
