Hi I'm Lauryn

I am a daughter of God.

About Me

I am called to serve in the Colorado Denver South Mission to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ!!!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be happy. I want to feel love, peace and joy. I want to be relieved from guilt that comes with sin. I want to be uplifted as much as possible. I want to be like Jesus. I want to make friends who help me reach my goals. All of this is possible because I am a Mormon. More so, this is possible because of who is at the head of this church, Jesus Christ. Without this man, I am nothing, and with Him everything is clear and possible. I am able to communicate with God through prayer. We all are. He answers prayers. I am a Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the vessel in which the true gospel of Jesus Christ is distributed. The more I come to know of Heavenly Father's plan for me, the more I come to know of His divinity, and eternal love for us. I am a Mormon because it makes sense.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus. However, sometimes I fall short. I make mistakes. All humans do. God knew this, which is why He sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ to atone for the sins, pains, afflictions, and heart-aches of all mankind. We have second chances, clean slates, and new beginnings because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice in the garden of Gethsemane, and death on the cross. As I learn more about my Savior and His plan, I come to love Him more. As I see His hand in my life, as well as His love and mercy for me on a daily basis, my desire to choose the right and live by His perfect example increases. As the standards of the world decline, keeping the Lord's standards becomes more challenging, but also more important than ever before. I personally know that being obedient to God blesses lives because it has truly blessed mine, ultimately bringing me great joy. That is the gospel's ultimate purpose, to bring happiness and joy! Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ love us so much and want us to return to live with them again. They want us to follow the example of Jesus Christ because it is the only way to become ultimately happy.
